Ok, so some of you may have been wondering where I've been? Then again, you may not have :) But, it's simple really, I only just had our first child...so needless to say it's been quite busy!
We had our daughter Eleanore on January 28, 2014 and it's true what they say about mother hood - it takes some adjusting. But, really, I can't complain as she is a precious gift from God and such a happy and content baby ( I may be eating those words later) :)
So, what do I have in store for everyone? Well, Spring is certainly in the air...well....not quite, but it will be here soon and to help it along I'm going to start making beautiful Spring cards. With Easter and Mother's Day just around the corner it's a good time to get started.
What is your favorite Spring item to use? Whether it's a stamp, paper, paint color? Whatever it is let me know. I will be posting more how to's and pics soon. It's good to be back in the game!
Nothing beats getting a hand-made card. Something that takes time, instead of just running to the store. My blog is committed to helping people create cards for everyone in their life. So read, enjoy, leave comments, and ask questions!

Baby Shower Thank You Cards - Peter Pan
When doing thank you's in bulk it's always best to a simple design, and in many ways less can be more elegant. Below is the picture the cards I made for my baby shower I had recently. I chose a Peter Pan theme for the nursery, one it's not over done, and two it works for a boy or girl.
Since I did find out we are having a baby girl I focused more on Wendy and Tinkerbell.
The thank you cards I made were quite simple as I found green cards (Crafts2000) and I have the Disney Cricut cartridge. I cut out the shadow of Wendy in size 2" and placed it in the center. I didn't glue the picture down, but instead used the 3D stickers to give some dimension to the card. Then I added self adhesive pearl accents in each corner. On the inside I did stamp Thank You leaving enough room to write a personal message.
VOILA! Done.
